Back in early 2010, when the construction company was requested to have an isolated, vibration and dust free laboratory, nobody could ever believe they would see an Electron Microscope coming to this site. But after a few months, Metallurgy and Material Science Laboratory welcomed the first ever Scanning Electron Microscope that entered to the building, escorted from Airport to the building.
The very first S.E.M came from Germany to KC laboratory, unpacked and installed on its legs. The first images showed the system is working properly.
Engineer Arif Razi is now waiting for factory training that was committed by supplier to be able to give services to requests coming from researchers. He will be person in charge for this system.
